Definitely made in style to other Cab Francs from Chinon. Lots of barnyard funk, green peppers and other herbs. Plenty of red fruits too that balance out the flavor. — 8 years ago

Tasted blind, I would have called this Bordeaux it has so much granite-y minerality. But the aroma of sun-ripened blueberries should have tipped me off to California. A finish just beyond medium--one of my favorite California cab francs (one of my favorite grapes!) — 10 years ago
