Wine 3/3 we put up against homemade pizza night. The blend on this wine was listed as 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Much more complete of a wine than the one before it in the evening. Clean and composed, this wine struck a balance of its blend and benefitted from its barrel program. Enjoyed this 95 CF 5 CS blend from Saumur. Classic mineral backbone was present, just enough punch, but the best was its rounded and elegant texture that manifested on the palate.
