Really a wonderful St J and a crazy value as a 2nd wine. Lovely pairing with roast rack of lamb with garlic / rosemary / mustard. In a good window but could take more time honestly. Wonderful acid, quite deep fruit, long finish, tannins still very there, delicious. — 4 months ago
Kinda like a beaune village wine. Floral with medium body. A bit lean as an 14 — 3 years ago

Monthly WTF wine group tasting. This month’s theme was chardonnay from any region or vintage. Nice eclectic bunch! All wines tasted blind.
Winner of the “biggest imitator”. This was very ripe, as though the wine was meant to be made a certain way. I think the entire group called this new world. Good bit of oak in play here, alongside melon, apple crumble pie, and hardly any acidity. Typical baking spice notes of nutmeg and vanilla too. May be starting to oxidize a bit, which probably gives this some complexity. Thanks @Michael Rariden . — 4 years ago
2018: Well balanced, still young Burgundian wine. Fresh, clean, great nose and palate from start. — 3 months ago
Earthy with some dark red fruit. Still some tannins — 6 months ago
Really liked this one, it got smoother and more flavorful with a decant. Really versatile wine. From DecantSF — 3 years ago

While not usually a big fan of Merlot I will definitely but this again. Totally enjoyable. — 5 years ago
