This really needs 5 years but wanted to check in. Nose is all stoned and red licorice. Some nice cherry as well. Substantial nose. You can smell this will need air. Beautiful fruit. Mmmmmm Grenache. So soft and lovely...like a well aged and taken care of older woman; Delicious and not so forward on why. The seriousness level is like at 10% here with chewy fruity notes...not thick...but full and sun tanned. A likely player to test against many of the other cotes du rhone players. Unique, to say the least...and absolutely southern rhone. — 9 years ago

This Provence pinkie shows a very light color in the glass, sort of an onion skin shade. The nose offers minerality first, a flinty aroma with strawberry and cherry notes more subdued. The sip is beautiful, with minerals again leading the way and a fresh acidity that is softened by the creaminess of the lees. — 3 years ago

What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia!
