Very easy. Not too strong or complex, but nice. And there are tannins. Hints of red fruit. — 11 years ago
Deep, Rich, and elegant. The wine actually feels more viscous than normal, and it’s just heavily perfumed and flavored and thick in your mouth. It absolutely feels like chewing on a handful of fresh blue and red fruit mixed together. Perfume of violet and Queen Anne roses, as it faded over time it actually became a much more elegant and approachable wine. Absolutely delicious. — 10 months ago
A fresh and young 2021. Tight acids, lots of bright tannins. Hasn’t mellowed into Nebbiolo brick and tar yet, but good. Lots of dried roses, thyme, flinty, touch of prune and baking spice. From Fermented Grapes. 12/10/2022 — 3 years ago

Light ruby red. It took some time for it to open, but when it did we just couldn't stop at one. Red and black cherries on the nose and in the glass you came up with the same flavors and thoughts like - Delicious. Had this with SL and KB.

Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2018 “Clos du Roy” is a light ruby and showing deeper, darker fruit and more structure than the 2019 “Clos de Chênes” (as it should). Balanced. The finish is also longer and slightly more powerful than the Volnay. Better after 2028 — 2 years ago
Rich with great backbone. My first white gc and don’t know what to expect. Little overblown but but so good. this corton stuff is little confusing. — 8 years ago

Showing well. Firm tannin, evolving red fruit, and just a touch of old barn. Still a little tight. Would like to revisit in another 3-5 years. — 10 years ago
