amazing pairing w a rich french beef stew, especially loved the earthy, ‘shroomy notes — 8 years ago
Best wine of the night so far barely edging out the Chablis. Pure is what comes to mind on this. — 9 years ago
Great for dinner or just to have a glass on the couch with a movie. I would honestly take this basically any time I want a glass of red. Full bodied, on the dry side, and not too sweet/juicy. — 10 years ago
Very enjoyable. Bought it at Costco. — 10 years ago
2013- if you can find it you are lucky. Very refreshing, bright and smooth Rutherford grade. #RedCapVineyards — 11 years ago

What a surprise after the '88 VV! — 11 years ago
A lot better than I expected. Some of the other reviews have mistakenly identified this as a Cab Franc. It's actually a Fer Servadou. Earthy, spicy, peppery aromas; bright flavors of tart plum with black olive and soy sauce; soft, dusty, elegant and not as fruit driven as many wines from the Aveyron area. — 12 years ago

Wonderful nose full of dark forest fruits. Good body and smooth finish. — 13 years ago
One of absolute favorite wines right now. The Granache is blended beautifully with Syrah and Mourvèdre to bring out the absolute best of each - dark fruit but not too sweet, dried raspberry and slight spice... aroma is out of this world, eyes rolling-back in your head bouquet leads to complex and balanced on the tongue with smooth tannins without losing body, and a beautiful, supple finish. Yum. This southern France style blend should hold up another few of years. Thankfully we have another bottle to lay down!! — 8 years ago
White peaches, white fruits ... beautiful. — 9 years ago

Nutty nutty nutty nose, floral too. The nutty flavor smacks your mother, and the reminds you of toasted almonds. Very very nice. — 10 years ago
I can only hope that someday something I've done for nearly my entire life can be fully realized, and enjoyed on such a simple but significant level. — 10 years ago
Bottle says it is barrel-fermented but don't taste the normal "buttery" taste in oaky Chardonnays. Crisp & light. — 11 years ago

Pithy. Zesty. Light on its feet. Rhubarb, red currant, sour cherries, dried flowers, blood orange with just enough garrigue goodness. — 7 years ago
