A lot better than I expected. Some of the other reviews have mistakenly identified this as a Cab Franc. It's actually a Fer Servadou. Earthy, spicy, peppery aromas; bright flavors of tart plum with black olive and soy sauce; soft, dusty, elegant and not as fruit driven as many wines from the Aveyron area. — 12 years ago

The Granache is blended beautifully with Syrah and Mourvèdre to bring out the absolute best of each - dark fruit but not too sweet, dried raspberry and slight spice... aroma is out of this world, eyes rolling-back in your head bouquet leads to complex and balanced on the tongue with smooth tannins without losing body, and a beautiful, supple finish.
