Christmas Eve selection. A solid Sauvignon Blanc at an amazing price point. A lovely nose of apple blossoms and white peach. Finally. This wine takes much longer to show its core beauty than one might expect. Now layered and full of honeyed quince and green olive and hay and herbs. The baby fat is gone, and while this still holds weight on the palate, it's more muscled and taut, less big and sloppy. Very true to it's Rhône heritage. — 7 years ago
