Closed & monolithic to start but opened up nicely needs air to show — 9 years ago
Ripe berries, blue- and strawberries with tannins to supply a lattice for the seductive flavours. Elegant acidity. — 10 years ago
A big and structured wine. Aromas of cherries, roasted coffee and fresh herbs. Broad-shouldered and chewy, with good mid-palate depth and firm tannins - plenty of length and grip on the finish. The wine seems nicely balanced, and should age very well. — 11 years ago
Lite ek, fruktig och pigg. — 11 years ago
A recco from the local liquor store. Beautiful eggplant purple, and jammy as Hell. Smoky, peppery and loads of black fruit. Must. Get. More. — 11 years ago
Formerly De Meric, beautiful stuff, great mag. — 13 years ago
A nice Beaujolais from a vintage that I don’t usually love compared to 2014/2016. Definitely better with an hour or so in a decanter to let the tannins integrate a bit more. Dark purple in the glass - darker than expected. Nice cherry aromas. Still could resolve a bit more on the finish but with a slight chill is nice. — 6 years ago
A hint of peach. Crisp and clean finish. If served chilled let it warm a bit. Then a slight butter comes through. Very pleasant. — 7 years ago
It's rich and smooth, would recommend for people who want to try Pinot Noir — 9 years ago
Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 10 years ago
This was the second bottle at Fogo de Chao in Atlanta with the Crosses. It was excellent; perfect with steak. Nicely balanced, full-bodied.
Drank it again a month later in Hudson; Jen liked it better than Louis Martini (as did Sara). — 10 years ago

This forty eight year old Clair-Dau the precursor of Bruno Clair. The last vintage made by Joseph Clair Bruno’s Grandfather. Exquisite, transcendent yet with power and grace. 1971 Vintage — 7 years ago
So much butter on the nose, my heart melts. Citrusy creamy notes, smells so good. First thing on the palette is lemon, and then vanilla, followed by a clean, smooth buttery taste. I. Love. This. Chardonnay. — 7 years ago
A marvelous showing for the Vergy 2008. Light on its feet yet gorgeously complex, right in between first and secondary aromatics. — 8 years ago
Very easy to drink on its own — 9 years ago
Light bodied, tart fruits, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries red licorice and earthy notes. — 11 years ago
Fab Vino from a great family run vineyard #newzealand #sauvignonblanc #marlborough — 11 years ago
Good balance of fruits and elegancy. Already smooth but could be kept for a few more years. — 12 years ago

A solid proof why you should age your Bourgogne wines. A “simple” Village Lieu-dit (above La Tâch) is finding itself in a wonderful stage in life near 10 years past harvest. Just let it dust off its shoulder and catch your attention as it opens up with a toffee like red fruit character, dried roses, sous bois, truffle, spice and rocks before slowly walking out with a graceful posture. — 6 years ago
