(2003 vintage) Very smooth and elegant with excellent harmony of gaminess, griotte cherry, menthol, tobacco, and earth. Smooth yet earthy, wonderfully proportioned. The meatiness complemented the beef tenderloin, while the fruit both enhanced and was brought out by the slight sweetness of the au jus. — 12 years ago
