This beer is my jam. Just lovely. Light on the palate but a little heavy on the belly with a meal. — 10 years ago

Fantastic nose and Classic Tuscan flavor elements
Illustrates so well why a second label from a great winemaker still has all the wine making craft of a first wine

"Black grape, raspberry and cassis hints combine in this delicately sweet Cabernet Sauvignon. It's full bodied character makes it superb with mature cheeses and fine pates." — 11 years ago

Very nice birthday lunch wine. — 10 years ago
Intense, balanced, complex. This Lopez De Heredia Gran Reserva Vina Tondonia Tempranillo 1994 keeps on getting better year after year. The perfect bottle for today, International Tempranillo Day. Perhaps only God could say if and when there will be another so fine, but she's tight-lipped. Assume that very little of this still exists. — 10 years ago
Sushi dinner out for Brandon's 25th. Happy BD to my #1 son! — 11 years ago
"Light gold. Intense, mineral-inflected aromas of pear, nectarine and white flowers. Bright, penetrating and emphatically dry, offering vibrant citrus and orchard fruit flavors and showing pronounced minerality. The strikingly long, energetic finish features notes of iodine, smoke and candied ginger, with a sneaky note of pit fruits adding depth."
- Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2013
All of our Chardonnays are whole-cluster pressed and fermented in Burgundian barrels with native yeast. Due to their great density and structure, vineyard-designate wines are able to absorb more oak without being overwhelmed, and see approximately 45% new French barrels. In addition, these wines spend more time in barrel (for Hyde, 21 months), completely sur lies, before being bottled without filtration. — 11 years ago
