First 80 degree day of the year. Time to bust out a white. Pretty darn good one. Nice minerality - crisp and dry. Green apple and citrus. Well done Hosmer! — 5 years ago
Fruity, sweet blackberry flavor. Adult juice box. — 8 years ago
Friday night random whites...
Fresh, clean and refreshing, light White peach notes. Nose is attractive, but a little too cold on first taste, so slightly closed initially.
Off-dry blend of NY's Finger Lakes region Cayuga & Vignoles, nose is really opening up nicely with some air and warming of the wine in the glass. Not overly complex, but this is a solid buy for the $10/$13 (wine club/retail) price. — 8 years ago
Called Barrel Fermented Chardonnay --good — 9 years ago
Favorite, Cayuga white is a national treasure as a grape. Crisp and mineral. I mean, I get peaches and citrus, lime mostly. This is a delightful wine. All the stars. — 6 years ago
Homer Dry Rose - excellent. Best served slightly warm. Dry, flavorful. Definitely a repeater — 8 years ago
A tasty Red from the Finger Lakes! — 8 years ago
Sweet, rich nose full of peach, pineapple, apricot and a hint of spice. Smooth, full and sweet on the palate. Sweet, thick, stone fruit and honey flavors are balanced by enough acidity to keep this ice wine from being too cloying. The finish is long and smooth and sweet. — 9 years ago
Sweeter white wine but smooth taste. Not too sweet. Fruity great wine on its own or paired with cheese. — 10 years ago
Citrusy with a clean, crisp and dry finish. Easy to drink. — 10 years ago
