Great example of savoury Syrah. Notes of chicken liver, foie gras, leather, olive, and herbs. Good, but not as exciting on the palate as the nose. On the lighter side of full bodied with balanced acidity. Fantastic wine with food. Try with beef or lamb stew. — 8 years ago

Mineral, chalk front; light, smooth body; tart, almost astringent close that fades to a balanced sour/sweet as it oxidizes. Served with quiche in winter, but would brighten any sunny day by water, too. — 8 years ago

A nice, smooth French Syrah from the Hermitage appellation. Heavy yet smooth with that luscious mature red fruit - tobacco ending with a hint of chocolate that presents as a “fruity” old world French red. Pair with a meal or cheese…Great glass! — 4 years ago
