A different expression of Malbec for sure. Light and juicy with just a brush of tannin. Blackberry and dark raspberry. Crunchy acidity. — 8 years ago
Frescura, austeridad, mineralidad, linda acidez, vertical, taninos firmes, interesante potencial. — 9 years ago
A beautiful field blend sweet white. Apples and pears, tart but also sweet canned fruit, maraschino cherries, calvados, a very slight oxidative note reminding me of Vin Santo, and a minerality that leads to a little complexity in the finish that's really delightful. — 10 years ago

Très belle texture veloutée. Encore du fruit. Belle harmonie. Nez magnifique — 9 years ago
2011 vintage. Slightly oxidative nose full of honeydew melon and green pear. Slightly creamy on the palate with big, juicy acidity. Crisp green apple and pear flavors leads to hints of bitter herbs and a long, bright, slightly waxy finish. — 10 years ago
This brawny Rutherford SB is much like that kid that joined the marines just for fun. Bronzed pear color. Fat legs coat the glass upon initial swirl. Robust, rich and perhaps almost pine-tinged flavors of lime and kiwi. Bold, with a nice, weighty mouthfeel. Has body and bite. Was very lucky to find this wine indeed. Yellow flowers and a slight honeyed essence from the Semillion with a present minerality. I think zesty is a great adjective for this Rutherford SB — 9 years ago

Ok the minerality on the nose is strong and the wine is golden honey to look at. Acidity is moderate palate is strong grape and mango. My co taster is a Col. With US Marines so I have to agree! — 10 years ago
