El Molar is an unusual 100% Garnacha from a region known primarily for Monastrell/Mourvèdre. It is sourced from the estate’s youngest plots in El Molar, planted between 2004 and 2010 on sand and chalk soils. Aged in large foudres and barrels for 14 months. Light ruby color. Red fruit. This wine is excellente! Deep silky dark fruit. This is a great sipping wine, yet it will sing with a thick steak or juicy grilled pork chop. This is a 2007, so good luck finding one. — 9 years ago
Poppin bottles for Christmas. Good Cava, great taste and easy to drink. Floated a couple raspberries in top for the holidays. — 10 years ago

Picked up 8 cases. At 5.85 CAD a great bargain for a nice rose. A lovely Grenache for the Summer, but full flavoured enough to enjoy year round. A great second bottle after a nice Chardonnay with Thanksgiving turkey. — 4 years ago
