Excellent with charcuterie board — 6 years ago
My favorite go-to Sav Blanc, especially when the weather turns warm in Phoenix. Green apple, pear and citrus notes (lime?) followed by a hint of herbs in the finish. Pairs well with goat cheese. I like this wine with a cheese board. — 7 years ago
Such an intense inviting nose and sexy opulent palate. I’ve been on a roll lately with excellent Sangiovese based wines (this is 100%), but this ranks high across the board, and still not close to fully mature. Herbs and spices, leather, ripe rich red fruits, silky tannins, buoyant acidity. Nothing NOT to like here, especially when paired with a pork osso bucco. — 8 years ago
Love this beer! Love that it's made by a local coffee roaster and I go to their coffee shop every weekend to enjoy coffee. Love this is from the local craft brewery down the street from my house. Wonderful balance and flavor. Never gets old. — 8 years ago
Fruity and caramel. It is good if you want a light white with my favorite flavors of a Chardonnay. Great for a cheap wine. — 9 years ago

Fantastische wijn, kwam van een vineyard waar envirotainer een board meeting heeft gehad. — 12 years ago
On the technical sense, this one gets a 93.8 from me. I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for aged Beringer Cabernet PR's. This one had a little bit of a black cherry and mushroom nose with a hint of Ash. However, the entry was very lovely with stone-ground black cherry fruit, fig, very ripe tobacco. The middle has ample weight and building acidity. Finish is lovely still with bright acidity and complexity. Would have thought this was a 2004. These 1997's have definitely impressed all across the board, not just with Beringer. I think I probably got to this one after it had been open about 1 or 2 hours. I think it is the right time to drink. If you have some of these in your cellar, you better get started! — 6 years ago

Time for #MerlotThursday... 😃
Dark purple in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, cedar, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Full bodied, bold and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, smoke, eucalyptus, peppercorn, earth and black tea.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a great Merlot from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Rich and smooth. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
I loved the nose here, and kept on smelling on it for a while. This is a Merlot for the Cabernet lover, with teeth staining color.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins. (60 minutes).
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 88% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 15 months in 25% new French Oak barrels.
Drank from a half a bottle. Delicious and yummy.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Med intensity and complexity on a restrained nose. Fresh orchard fruit and flowers. The palate is where this wine really shows off. Great complexity mixed with depth, power, and restraint. Sweet orchard fruit, Meyer lemon, hazelnut, and flowers. Great balance and length. #wenzlauvienyards #santabarbara #santaritahills #chardonnay #california #usa #ctbucklinwine — 8 years ago
Bigger, bolder style of dolcetto! Black and boysenberry fruit, even tar and leather hints. Powerful, dry, with ripe and juicy fruits. Hints of black tea on the finish. A favorite we brought home from a recent trip to Serralunga and visit to the winery. Pair with a richer meat and cheese charcuterie board. — 9 years ago

Highly fragrant with ripe red fruit dominating. Palate is dominated by oak. Tasted like a wet board once the fruit faded. Good but wonder if the oak might soften over time. — 10 years ago

This was the most open of the Pinots and drinking great. I kept tasting cherry jolly ranchers.
Paul Lato was in town and I had the chance to spend some time with him and taste through several of his new releases. His wines are great across the board. — 6 years ago
