Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deliciously jammy and exquisite for pairing against a robust charcuterie plate...include prosciutto and some truffle pecorino — 5 years ago

Domaine Eden

Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir 2010

9.2

Nose is dominated with cola and raspberries. Tannins are still prominent, giving it a rustic sense. The acidity is brisk. Finishes with somewhat tart cherries, and black olives, in a pleasant way. Shows purity and has echoes of a burg grand cru.

A big shout out and HNY to our new friends, and old, on DL. We trust that 2017 is going to be a smash hit for all. Carpe diem 🍾🎈

Domaine le Murmurium

Carpe Diem Côtes du Ventoux Rouge 2003

Nose: buttery, red fruit, earthy. We did a quick aeration. Lots of sediments. Feels warm. Balanced, but with higher tannins. Great as a stand alone. I could see this pair well with dessert. Some sort of fruit pie. — 8 years ago

Anderson Valley Chardonnay 2010

California Chardonnay in burgundy style. Lack of oak is a nice change of pace and as a result the wine paired well with both mahi mahi and veal tenderloin. — 8 years ago

Meursault Chardonnay 2004

The 2004. Still coiled and youthful at age 11, it has a glorious future ahead of it. Lemon, salt and chalk, the structure is still pretty monumental and not quite fully integrated. But delicious and with huge potential. Thanks @Chris Cottrell - carpe diem is right! — 9 years ago
