Rhone Blend from our Anaba tasting last month. Bottle was opened and half consumed in mid December.. Gassed with Argon. Completely fresh after 3 weeks and excellent. Citrus, crisp.

Light gold in color. Aromas of apple, orange peel, kiwi, white flowers and ginger. Full bodied, chalky in mouthfeel, acidity balanced by big body and a flicker of fieriness. Flavors of ginger, apple and tangerine and finishes with Apple and white pepper. Delicious and bold with fun get distinguished complexities.

2012 vintage. Bought a six pack of this stuff from Carpe Vino, the best wine shop & fine dining restaurant in the Sierra Foothills. A wonderfully balanced blend of Rhone varieties.

Nice to be able to follow our 3 step wine process--taste wine, buy wine, drink wine--in the same day for a change. ;-). This is a lovely white blend with Grenache Blanc and Viognier forming it's backbone. The nose is floral with a hint of banana, and the palate is a nice balance of tropical fruit and minerality with a lingering finish.
