This year it’s a coferment of 52% syrah/48% grenache. It’s extremely young and primary at this stage, bold acidity and slight tannic presence. The brightness of the grenache dominates the profile, but there are some smokey undertones from the syrah. This should develop into something fantastic, it just needs time. Will wait 5 years before the next one. — 5 years ago
Amazing body balances substantial but not excessive fruit. Works very nicely with a friend's New Zealand cheddar. — 7 years ago
Excellent Zin, bright and fruity with real grip, spicy and smooth, soft tannins and crisp acidity, a real mouthful — 8 years ago

Amazing pairing with Thanksgiving dinner. — 4 years ago
Wow. A powerhouse with finesse. A nose of freshly picked blackberries and chocolate pie. Glides along the palate effortlessly revealing blackberry, chocolate ganache, and pepper flavors. Lush and full-bodied. Super silky tannins with a long, loamy finish. Really impressive effort. I love this winery and this is a perfect example why. — 6 years ago

Classic Carlisle extraction. Beautiful nose of black raspberry, Bing cherry, licorice and cardamom infused with a bit of smokiness. Well integrated palate that echoes the nose, with a long fruit-driven finish underscored by tobacco. Well balanced for drinking now and should age well for another five years. — 8 years ago
