AJ 89/100 - Finalmente riesco a mettere le mani sulla Malvasia di Bosa! Non quella che volevo ma un buon base per iniziare va sempre bene! Colore giallo paglierino chiaro, naso intrigante e complesso con note floreali, balsamiche, un ritorno di pesca bianca e uva sultanina, in bocca morbido, pieno, con giusta acidità e finale molto buono. I need a case of this stat! It's one thing to know that this is the love child of Hervé Souhaut and René-Jean Dard, it's another to know it tastes of one too. The gamay lightens and brightens the Syrah. Add a zippy tingle and some slightly chewy tannins and this is just pure fun to drink! Thanks to @Carla Hine for the recommendation! A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 2% Syrah & 2% Petit Verdot. Deep purple with fresh berry fruit aromas and earthy spice tones. Blackberry currant flavors, almost jammy, with herb notes and soft fine tannins. Medium finish, easy drinking best now over next couple of years, ending with a spice character. — 7 years ago
