Sal Captain has crafted a refreshingly Californian PN, light-bodied, low on the oak, and high on the bright fruit flavors: red currant, blueberry, and bing cherry. — 8 years ago
Pegau wines are among my favourites in the whole world. The cuvée Lawrence was flabby and phenolic when first opened. After 3-4 hours it was a different wine. Velvety, rich and foul of umami with this incredible port like sweetness. The only Pegau I have had better than this is the famous 03 cuvée reserve, which is one of the finest wines ever made in humanity. So tiisnie. After well 😊 — 9 years ago

Good balance, well integrated. Grippy tannins on the finish with good structure. Drinking very well right now. — 9 years ago
In the nose I smell sweet tobacco and hints of anise. Wet leather and the smell of rain. Big in tannin and foul-mouthed wine. Not a long end but need to age. — 9 years ago
Simple. Easy to drink. Local winery.
Absolutely recommend to anyone. — 9 years ago

Needing an aperitif to accompany a charcuterie plate, I popped the cork on the pale straw-colored NV M Lawrence Demi-Sec Sparkling Blend 'Detroit' from L Mawby. Nice red and green apple aromas on the active nose. A bit of residual sugar brightened the crisp fruit flavors. An eminently quaffable summer refresher. — 11 years ago
