Awesome wine! Selected by Sommelier based on what we volunteered as wines we love. Crazy, but he made mention to only one other wine he comped it to which was Tignanello.. Crazy part is that we ordered 2 bottles of Tiggy to be delivered while we are in Cape May... Very cool story.. — 10 years ago
So delicious! I could drink this wine all day & night! ..Society may frown upon that :p — 10 years ago
Tart sour cherries, intense and full bodied. Tried with Taylor and friends at Mexican Food Factory on Rt 70 in Marlton along with a glass of Cape May Turtle! Another a little sour but what flavors! Bravo ... Thursday live band as usual 7-10... No cover too — 10 years ago

Had the 2013 in May 2017. A very nice Pinotage. Smooth finish. Had with pasta and red sauce, meat & tomato. Had cellared it for about one to two years. — 8 years ago
Love it. Such an incredible value.
Appearance: Clear and polished ruby/magenta with slight variation to the rim; medium body and legs
Nose: getting some alcohol and smoked meats, earthiness
Taste: Dark red fruit core with good structure and tannins; alcohol is a bit noticeable at the point but should integrate well over the next year or two; some very light and pleasant menthol sort of notes
We paired this with beef Wellington and roasted potatoes smothered in duck fat, gruyere and thyme. It held up beautifully and didn't overtake the dish. We opened 2 hrs before and let it passively decant in bottle - may play around with a hard decant, etc. guessing day 2 for this one will be even better. — 8 years ago
2012 Sta. Rita Hills pinot, Lompoc Wine Co. Really high acid, nice cherry fruit. Food friendly. Lighter in body, almost herbal? Not a ton of fruit at first, may open up. @Joseph M. should try this! — 9 years ago
As I put my sweet baby girl to bed after a looong day, snuggling with her in her new "big girl bed", I found a stray eyelash on her cheek. Maybe I'm alone in this, but for as long as I can remember I have been superstitiously transferring these from one finger to another...and if I blow the lash off while making a wish, "they" say it will come true. I tried wishing this was a 2007 Screaming Eagle - or that I could magically be beamed onto David Lentine's Napa trip for the night (ha!). Alas, no such luck. Seriously thou, with my kids' lashes, I have always wished the same thing: "may you have a wonderful life." But I made this addition: "may you always have the courage to be yourself." #inthistogether #overturnHB2 #onlylove — 9 years ago
This may be one of the best examples of Cali Syrah I've had in quite some times. Floral, meaty, with delicious black olives — 10 years ago
Great nose but the palate is just a bit off. Pop and pour so may just need some air. — 10 years ago

One of my FAV red blends. Cape May, NJ — 12 years ago
Visited the winery this fall and fell in love with this cab. Smooth texture that pairs well with food or alone. Wish I had a whole box full...but, alas, MO does not allow shipping. — 8 years ago
Visited this winery in November 2015 and 2016, all of their wines are excellent! Best winery in Cape May NJ! — 8 years ago
I may have a new favorite Japanese beer, actually brewed in Japan ! Orion had been my go to real Brewed in Japan beer but this rice beer has a little better flavor and a better match with my sushi and saké. And only $4. For 22oz bottle at Sinju in the Pearl seems like a bargain — 9 years ago
Tasted at May 2016 Chef Stephen wine class. Purchased at Oneota Co-op in decorah. Very crisp and what I love about sauvignon blanc. — 9 years ago
It's a nice complex wine. You may find it a little sharp but if left to muture for 5 years you do tend smith rich notes from this wine. Would recommend for the price — 10 years ago
Incredibly aromatic- spiced apple, juicy ripe pear, honeydew and Meyer lemon, yellow flowers and citrus blossom. Notes of lemongrass and coriander--citrusy herbs. Creamy midpalate w/ a lot of lychee nut and fairly high acid. Hmm...possibility of some gewurz co-ferm? The world may never know... — 10 years ago
Bright & delicious. It's got a large portion of Zin, but not heavy, sugary, jammy, like most you may come across. Good structure, a nice little acid bump, and some weight to hold you in the finish. — 10 years ago
Had this at Peter Shields in Cape May — 10 years ago

Used to utilize it exactly as the name suggests. Giving away to ladies to make their life a bit sweeter. It does work. No chocolate, a very thin may be even subtle aroma. Currant, a bit of other dark berries and spices taste. This one had better years and hopefully some good ones ahead. — 7 years ago
