Pleasant aperitif. Moscato style presumably from Muscat grape, but varietals in blend not specified. A low alcohol (7.5), little sweet and little sparkling, fruit-forward wine. — 7 years ago
Good bottle. Of the lighter side with bright acidity. Still medium tannins and structure. — 7 years ago

2024 spring. Has good Nebbiolo character in a relatively open-knit style — 9 months ago
Still my favorite wine from the Bertrand Domaine. This is a cuvée made without added S02 and aged in inox tanks. Pure terroir. Very nice cherry and hay nose, very inviting. The palate is well made, strong acid backbone, superb cherry notes all along, good width, a bit of a round mouthfeel. There are some light tannins in mid palate leading to a fruity finish that lasts for a while. Lovely wine! — 3 years ago

Superbe patine — 3 years ago
Ripe & fruit forward with dark cherry & blackberry and a whiff of Mediterranean herbs.
Rich yet very fresh & balanced on the palate with beautifully polished & juicy tannins and a perfect balance between the sweet fruit and sappy acidity.
This is a nice one - richer & heavier yet very drinkable at the same time.
Excellent match with grilled meat. — 4 years ago

Delectable Wine

The 2021 Barbaresco is impressive. Intensely aromatic and explosive, the straight Barbaresco shows why 2021 is such a pedigreed vintage. Spice, lavender, sage and mint meld into a core of blue/purplish fruit. A gorgeous, overachieving wine, the 2021 just needs time in bottle. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2024)
