White - Another fantastic wine from Lopez de Heredia, aged for six years in barrel a wonderful vintage that aged greatly, light waxy and oxydation notes - always happy to get this great classics from one of the best traditional producer of Rioja :) — 9 years ago
Just bottled after almost 9 years in barrel without topping. The most sherry-like wine I've had without adding any distillate. Harvested with high sugars but very light and extremely savory. — 10 years ago
Beautifully floral, deceptively sweet on the nose, dry and delicious in the mouth. — 11 years ago
A kick-ass dessert wine. Nutty, dried fruits, wildflower honey, coconut and exotic fruits. Nosing it you'd think oxydative wine but it delivers so much more when it hits your taste buds — 8 years ago
I call this Sunday 3 o'clock pool day goodness — 9 years ago
7 grapes created this beautiful blend. 4 red and 3 white, all from one vineyard planted in late '50. Rustic, smoky and bitter with soft tannins. Red berries try to brake this tobacco facade, needs long aeration to set them free. Quite acidic, licorice finish. — 9 years ago
Finally tried this over Memorial Day. Love it! — 9 years ago

Clear deep orange in the glass. Big bosomy nose of white flowers and candied orange peel. Full rich body with medium plus acidity. Lilies and orange peel lead on the palate. Medium finish with a hint of wet stone. Great on its own, but lives for food. — 8 years ago
