From a favorite estate in the heart of Chianti comes this simply gorgeous Tuscan table wine for the table. 90'ish % Sangiovese with a splash of Merlot just to round-out the edges, the 2010 (Sebastiano) "Cappone" Chianti Classico, simply put, is a slam dunk.
For the buck: you will find few better.

Beautiful Sangiovese! Even better when tasted beside the Conti Capponi at Que Syrah, which included stories about his families historic Tuscan estate, vineyard, and wine-making process for each of the seven wines tasted. 🍷 — 10 years ago
