Barboncino. Very dry — 6 years ago
Pleasant varietal expression with a nice bit of cantaloupe and honey on the tongue. Medium acidity and low alcohol. — 7 years ago
What to say about this wine. Well it is everything anyone could ever want in a southern Italian red. It's light and fruity and goes perfect with any meal. I only found it at one restaurant in sorrento and it was their house wine. I bought a bottle and am drinking it again now, but nothing is better than having it from a jug poured off the grapes on a warm sorrentine night. If you can get your hands on this wine, do not hesitate, drink it and enjoy it! — 7 years ago

Nice and light, could have a little more oomph in flavor but overall a very good Lambrusco. — 9 years ago

1975 Dessilani Fara--top shoulder. Very complex aroma; floral, spice, earth, leather and a touch of char. Somewhat light, especially in the middle. Earthy Nebbiolo flavors, moderate acidity, some length. An experience. — 9 years ago

Ruche is a minor grape in the Piedmont and this is a wonderful example. Soft tannins, beautiful fruit, and a nice nose. Track this down. Found at Eataly in Turin. — 9 years ago

Once in a lifetime wine. Automatically it had everything you want from Nebbiolo and was flawless reminiscent of orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other general baking spices. Flavor wise tannins were completely gone and the acid was too elevated, but it was fine when accompanying food. The taste grew on you, but the obvious star was the bouquet. — 10 years ago
