Beautiful black cherry, mint, licorice and leather aromas mostly reflected on palate. Dark fruit but still quite lively. Only quibble is it is a bit short, but at 19 years that is remarkable. — 7 years ago
Our table burned through it fast. Solid.

Nice depth of varietal characteristics, pretty hot at 15% ABV. — 8 years ago
A very well rounded and special Cannonau. Dark mature fruit and a hint of licorice... Surprisingly young, 2012. I'd like to keep a few bottles in the Cantine for a rainy day in 2022! — 8 years ago
Sophisticated. Perfect blend of mild tannis and depth. — 9 years ago
Fist vintage of Gran Selezione from Badia a Passignano 100% Sangiovese aged 16 months in large barrels and 14 months in bottles complex and nicely evolved aromas a fresh herbal and. Intense, high tannins, hints of berries and licorice - had it with the perfect tagliatelle mari e monti prepared by my wife Amel - tagliatelle, Piedmontese porcini mushrooms, squid, octopus and shrimps in tomato reduction. Full body, 13 degrees, full and intense. — 7 years ago
Restaurant recommendation. Full bodied, oaked but very structured white. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Should have had a few years ago — 8 years ago
Slighty spikey tannins, but still great mouth. Good none fruit. — 8 years ago
2003 vintage. Once you get past the booziness of the vintage there is some really good juice underneath. — 9 years ago
Liked it a lot. Full body, bright acidity. Good value! — 9 years ago
That's one of my favorite whites from Italy. Ergo, North rulezzzz ;) absolutely delicious! — 10 years ago
Delicious smooth finish. Dry but not overly so. — 11 years ago
Rich and explosive, Il Palazzino’s 2010 Chianti Classico Argenina bursts from the glass with ripe dark cherry, plum, smoke and Mediterranean herbs. Chiantis from the Monti sub-zone of Gaiole always play off depth and structure, as is the case here. (AG) — 7 years ago
En helt utmärkt ripasso. — 8 years ago
90% Chardonnay and 10% Gruner make this a complex gem! All the oak (it was aged in an oak barrel), full, smoothness of a Chardonnay with the complexity of a Gruner (and low acidity). — 8 years ago
I've never tasted anything like this, and I don't know where to get more of it. — 8 years ago
Almost a perfect sangiovese rosè by Il Palazzino from Monti in Chianti, one of my favorite vineyards around, such a mystic spot! Fruity crisp choice and... finished too quickly! — 9 years ago
First release for this #Durello made with Charmat method. Fresh and crisp and long. At €6,50 at the winery. — 11 years ago
