Never had rosso de montepulciano, I never knew this was a different region then montepulciano. Wife picked this up and it is very good. I got an education from a Tuscan friend about the region I will keep an eye out for rosso de montepulciano wines. — 6 years ago

Shows that Prosecco can be as delicious as any sparkling wine without trying to be anything but what it is: rivetingly fresh and lively with lots of Meyer lemon and saline notes. — 8 years ago

A great example of why Brunellos are loved so much - great terroir and lingering aromas make this a beautiful wine to drink. Easily can be kept laying down for another 7-8 years. — 10 years ago

Small red berries, black and white pepper, strawberry, hay, leather a bit too. Rather discreet but complex nose. The palate is a real treat. So long, so intense! A very strong acid backbone which makes for a dynamic mouthfeel. Strawberry and small red berries dance all around it. Some width and a smooth touch on the sides, a bit of tannins too to spice things up. There is something else in the texture like a layer of silk with a touch of tobacco, I don't know how to describe it otheewise. The finish is everlasting with the small red berries and a nice acid/bitter touch that make it very classy. It blends a grand Bourgogne touch with a dynamic and fruitful châteauneuf du pape distinction. What a wine! — 6 years ago
Tutti frutti! Oh Rudy!! Tannin factor down to a minimum...very smooth man — 8 years ago
Really well balanced with lots of fruit and a touch of spice on the nose. Wine did well with pasta and paired well with the cheese at the end of the meal. Good finish that seemed to improve after a couple hours of breathing. — 9 years ago
Delicious fruit. Cherries, plums. Amazing immediately after the cork is pulled. 2013 Vintage 9/3/15 — 10 years ago

Not as yeasty as expected for a wine that spent 6+ years on the lees. Lots of golden (bruised) apple, some pear juice, bitter lemon peel and bitter almond on the finish. Touch of honey, touch of that tangy yogurt/sourdough thing happening. Hint of RS but the acidity is banging. — 6 years ago
Dry. Red fruit. Enjoyable. Good value. — 7 years ago
