TSWC. Went well with Roast Turkey on Christmas Day. Smooth drinking with some good nose to it. — 4 months ago
4 months ago
Amarone is, admittedly, a bit of an acquired taste. This is a particularly smooth representation of the style. Bright cherry and blueberry flavors are present up front, leading into a nicely-balanced, but slightly tart, extended finish. This is currently a steal, available at select TJ’s for around $15. — 5 months ago
Year 2017. Lovely fruity taste and beautiful bottle. Perfect gift to friends for Xmas. — 2 years ago
Very nice with a heaping bowl of cheesy pizzoccheri; an absolutely perfect winter combo. — 5 years ago
Superb! Rose (imagine the e with the right accent) has not been my fav, but they are certainly becoming better. This is a very good one, especially for my fellow dry wine lovers. — 7 years ago

Slightly drier, lighter from the 2014 vintage if I recall correctly. Some dried pepper and dried cranberries notes on the nose. — 5 years ago

Meaty and herbaceous this has enough weight to pair well with the braised short ribs, parsnip purée and sautéed broccolini. — 7 years ago

Speris began working as vine growers in Valpolicella seven generations ago. Deep Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruits and sweet smoky spices. On the palate flavors of ripe plum and sweet berries with cacao, spice and fig flavors. Fine tannins, long complex rich finish ending with fruit, tobacco and earthy notes, good structure. Will continued to get better with age, good now. Sustainable. — 4 months ago

Nose like a 1980’s on palate like 2000’s even after opening (kept in bottle) for a day. Once poured out the glass the wine mellow down quite quickly. Drank it at Suinsom Val Gardena — 2 months ago
