very big wine and drinking great already! — 7 years ago
Medium+ garnet, with a tinge of orange-brown color around the rim. Raspberry and cherry nose, along with that pencil shavings smell. Second hour of air, secondary scents unfolded with some mint, spices and lightly roasted coffee beans. Feels quite Burgundian. Silky tannins. Not much gripping. Mid weight on the palate. Nice acidity; not overly tart. Surprisingly long. The taste lingered for quite a while. 91-92. — 7 years ago
Very soft and full open on the palate. Light but distinct floral bouquet on the nose. Apple and pomelo rind on the open with brioche on the finish. — 8 years ago

Excellent. Full body — 10 years ago
Had at thanksgiving 2014 with Fam. Everyone but Lisette really liked it. $21 at Urban Grape (5R).
Dried cherry on the nose. Licorice, funkiness/ mushrooms, earthiness, with a finish of black cherries. Smooth and lovely old-world drinking — 12 years ago

Medium bodied, rich and juicy for a Valtellina. Savory & mineral, dried roses, cherries, prune, tobacco, some oak, anise. From Flatiron Wines. — 7 years ago

I drank this after using an aerator. Immediately scent of braised beef and fresh rubber on the nose. Meaty flavor on the way down. Truly is best wine under $5 at TJ's — 9 years ago
01 Togni wouldn't hurt to have another decade on it. — 10 years ago
Graceful cherry and raspberry fruit as it opens up. Medium bodied with a dash of woody tannins in finish. A little bit of black tea. Loamy and savory in nose but brighter fruit expression on palate. This like Reggie Bush, not producing a lot on the field but seductive off it. — 11 years ago
Very full bodied and rich yet only 12.5% — 11 years ago
Great evening at The Wine Pub in San Diego — 12 years ago
8 hours or so decanted, double decanted, brought this around nicely. Again another wine this evening that only got better. Big, bold tempranillo that has some resolved, velvety tannin of a wine of 15+ years but the fruit of wine maybe 7-8 years old...mostly primary, but deep. — 5 years ago
Refreshing, medium body. Very drinkable. — 5 years ago
Lovely wine. Smooth and refreshing for a red. Cherry forward, grassy/earthy on the end. Low tannins make it easy to drink. — 7 years ago
Committed to trying more old world wines this year and this is a tasty number to kick that off! Easy drinker, very subtle cherry, not fruity. Definite acid and citrus, light tannins, would go great with red sauce as well as heartier fish. Appealing ruby color. Opened up with some air-time/decanting for sure and would likewise benefit from some cellar time. But a very good vibe even at this young age. — 7 years ago
Pale garnet color. Medium+ aromas of ripe cherry, dried strawberry , raspberry, dried rose and peony, woody. Developing.
The wine is dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium body, medium+ intense flavor of dried cherry, strawberry, rose and vanilla. Finish is medium.
Very good, but too young. — 8 years ago
This wine is excellente! Deep silky dark fruit. This is a great sipping wine, yet it will sing with a thick steak or juicy grilled pork chop. This is a 2007, so good luck finding one. — 10 years ago
Elegant, refined Bolgheri Bordeaux blend. Well balanced, lithe, with strong minerality. A sophisticated wine. — 11 years ago
Soft tannins with mild cherry taste. Nice.

Popped and poured; consumed over two days. Best on day two. The 2019 “Ca’ del Buc” pours a slightly glass staining ruby; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, this is funky tart plums and cherries and something reminiscent of an alleyway on a warm day…but in a good way. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Tart dark and red fruits with minerals. Lip smacking finish. This is a rustic Barbera and a killer value with unmistakable Piedmontese sensibilities. I’m grabbing a case. — 4 years ago
