Nice typical ca fruity style — 12 years ago
The best, beautiful bubbles from Napa. 2010 is going to be a great vintage for CA sparkling. A little softer, more approachable now! — 12 years ago
INCREDIBLE blanc de noirs vintage bubbles from Teutonic. Rich, ripe and autolytic while still having amazing cut and focus. Almost ciderlike in its pure crisp apple flavor. Concentrated nose of ripe and baked red apples, flaky pastry dough, toasted almonds, saline and crushed chalk, and a bit of nutmeg spice. Palate is remarkably similar to the nose and the flavors ride a laser beam of intense, high acid and a very fine bead of bubbles. Bone dry. Medium (-) body with great leesy texture. One of the best bottles of bubbles I've had in recent memory and an almost dead ringer for good vintage BdN Champagne. — 8 years ago

A really lovely sparkling from CA. Clean body and finish. Very easy drinking. — 9 years ago
This wine was closed when we opened it but the next day it turned out to be a gem. Keep for another 3 years. Great balance between acid and fruit. Tannins resolved over night and now the wine has dark berry notes and a hint of bitterness and dirt! The ripeness of the 2009 vintage shines through but is well managed. Beats any California Pinot at the price level ca. 50$ when I bought it. This is how Burgundy should taste! Low 13.3%. For a Gevrey at the village level stellar! — 10 years ago
This is impressive. One of the best from CA overall, especially at the price point. Snappy, dry; sweet strawberries and roses. Quite complex. — 10 years ago
Great with raw oysters and seared scallops. Oaky, but not overbearing like many CA Chardonnays have become. — 10 years ago
Leesy, blackberry, cream, cassis, black cherry, med+ tannin, med+ acid. — 11 years ago
Rich core of prunes, chocolate and balsamic. Color is gorgeous garnet-ruby and tinges of orange/pink. Half an hour in the glass and it was showing beautifully — 11 years ago

Nariz: mermelada de ciruela y cerezas, cuero nuevo, regaliz.
Boca: Taninos M+, Acidez M/M+, Alcohol Alto (16%). Seco pero untuoso, redondo, buen balance.

We had this on 7/20-21/16. This nice blend of Malbec, Cab Sauv and Petit Verdot had nice tastes of graphite, blackberry and current. A nice smooth finish with a little spice for this full bodied wine. — 9 years ago

Getting a terroir lesson from Pedro Parra. When talk turns to CA limestone, had to hunt this down. @Sashi Moorman @Rajat Parr — 10 years ago

Only 25 cases made. Salmon pink. Reminds me of one of my favorite CA roses, the Sinskey Vin Gris de Pinot Noir. — 12 years ago
