1993 Domaine Dujac Les Gruenchers Chambolle Musigny burgundy. BBQ at the house while B&M Sh were visiting. Drank this first, before the '99 La Tache and the '86 Margaux. Served out of decanter, but did not decant for a long time. Super smooth and light. Hard to choose a fave bw this and the La Tache. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Good balance bw the more precise white and the overly ripe white in the lineup. Nice integration and favorite of the 3 I tasted. — 11 years ago
Nose is floral. Odd for BW. Great flavors. Not too heavy. — 11 years ago

Tasted at Venture Cafe event courtesy of BW 4/27/17. Shockingly good for MA sparkler, who knew! Golden hew in color and nutty Sherry notes due to age and balanced palette with good length. Savory notes. Would be great to throw in a blind tasting! — 9 years ago

1990 Petrus. Fourth of July dinner at the house. Drank this alongside the '90 Cheval Blanc. We decanted both wines for over two hours, but this wine was still very, very tight and young. The Cheval Blanc was much more approachable and opened up much more quickly than this wine did. Very tight and green on the nose to start, but relatively quickly went into a really funky phase- alternated bw earthy funk and sour funk. Then through the majority of the dinner, this nose shifted to a profile of sour cherry, gamey meat, and asphalt. All eight of us preferred the Cheval Blanc for most of the night, despite how often and quickly the Petrus kept changing. However, at the very end of dinner, the Petrus really opened up and became gorgeous. Should note that A pointed out that this might have to do with the fact that we had stopped eating, so we weren't mixing the fat from food with the wine. Overall, super interesting and delicious, but very, very young and we noted that we should wait to drink other bottles. — 10 years ago

Nestled bw a Pinot noir and a cab franc. It's soft when it needs to be and has just the tannic structure to make it more interesting. — 12 years ago

1991 Dalla Valle Maya CS. Second set of reds we tried at house dinner w A&C BG and MR&GR. This wine we tried alongside the '97 Insignia. Hard to pick a fave bw the two, but the group seemed to favor the Maya slightly over the Insignia. Both were awesome! — 10 years ago
Eric Platt brought it home for a Heart's Delight wine tasting with the BW EPL people. Buy. — 11 years ago
