Perry and Carolyn Butler moved to California in 1982, from Britain and later in 1997 Founded Juslyn, name derived from Justine-the Butlers' daughter-and Carolyn. A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc & 2% Petit Verdot. Aromas of red and black fruits with floral spice. Big flavors in this Bordeaux blend of ripe berry fruits with sweet notes. Rustic tannins that bite, medium finish ending with alcohol burn. No aging potential drink now, a bit pricy. — 7 years ago
Smooth finish. Reminds us of one of our favorite local wines! — 8 years ago
Had this at the house at St Barths, with Pierre the chef and Marie the butler. Same as Bonito! — 10 years ago

I’m surprized this wine only averages 8.1. I’m not a Cab fan but found this to be smooth and somewhat spicy-peppery. I would definitely but this wine again. — 7 years ago

This is crazy good. Strawberry preserves and apple butter on the nose, a refreshing burst of acidity up front and a butterscotch pudding finish that goes on forever. — 10 years ago
An exceptional offering from Amy Butler with Four Lantern's first release. — 10 years ago
Tart red fruit- refreshing herbaceous notes, good funk. Surviving a night of quoting Judith butler, Heidegger, Nietzsche, Marx... The list goes on. But thank god for this wine — 10 years ago
Mild mild aroma of strawberry and raspberries. Mild strawberry and peach in the middle. Then a flash of sweet cherries at the end. — 6 years ago

Amazing wine. Beautiful notes of ripe orchard fruits - Pear, Apricots and Apple hitting the nose. Lightly colored but good range for a white. Taste is fresh pear and apricot, with a hint of green apple. I can’t wait to drink again. — 6 years ago
