Enso, made in PDX, has released their "Chateauneuf du Stark" based on the quartet of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Counoise (each at 25%) from Columbia Valley. Fragrant, phat, flirting with smoke & slate but so juicy...call me muy loco but it reminds me of papaya crossed with tobacco. Whatever, this li'l Stark ode to Chateauneuf isn't too big for its britches, it's daring & delightful! — 10 years ago
Smooth and refined. Nice hint of black currant. One of my favorite Chilean blends. — 10 years ago

Pronounced aromas of blackberries and violets. Full bodied and well balanced. Lush rich flavors and vibrant at the same time. Drinks excellent now and can definitely age. — 10 years ago

A big Sangiovese with some punch to it, this is a great general purpose food wine. Predominant flavors are cherry and dark plum, with some acidity to the finish. It is fuller bodied than the average Sangiovese, pairing nicely adobo loco steak with poblano, corn, and crispy potato hash. Bellissimo! — 8 years ago
