Château Caronne Ste. Gemme

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

3.4 Reminds me of the 2005. Delicious Bordeaux, lovely fruit and chemistry. Regularly $29.99, on sale for $23.89. 2014 just as tasty. On sale for $15.99, regularly $19.99. — 11 years ago

Michel Delhommeau

Cuvée Harmonie Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Sur Lie Melon de Bourgogne 2012

I could drink this by the bucket, which is just what you want to do after a hot day in the vineyard. — 12 years ago

Quinta do Passadouro

Passa Vinho Tinto 2011

Really nice representation of the value and quality of Portugal's Douro blends. Soft with being cloying and a good balance of acidity and deeper fruit like blackberry make it a good pairing with steak and hearty soup. The more Douro I drink the more my bucket list trip to Spain will include a side trip to Portugal's wine regions. — 11 years ago

Longview

Adelaide Hills Cabernet-Shiraz Blend 2010

LONGVIEW 'Red Bucket' Adelaide Australia 2010 Shiraz Cabernet. The Saturno brothers killed it with this wine! The cooler climate lends elegance and grace to the sublime wine. Blueberry, mocha, spiced plum. Balanced! — 13 years ago

Cavallotto

Pinner Bianco Pinot Nero 2013

Unique expression of Pinot noir.... White, what the? A lightly flavoured wine with a bucket of complexity. Great texture and length. — 11 years ago

Jean-Paul Thevenet

Vieilles Vignes Morgon Gamay 2013

Nothing makes me as happy as fresh wines like this. Could be drank by the bucket load. This is what wine was supposed to be like — 11 years ago

Snosrap (Parsonage Village Vineyard)

Cyrano Red Blend 2004

One of the best value wines I've had in a long time!! Huge nose of tertiary notes that follow through on the palate - baking spice, cigar box, and sandalwood by the bucket load!! Black fruits still holding up with dark cherries and infinite complexity behind it. Still my all time favourite wine / vintage from Carmel Valley! — 12 years ago
