2015, tanines are well balanced, complex bucket of aromatics, long aftertaste, fresh opening . Perfect with plate of hiromery, pears and feta. — 10 years ago
Pretty, bright pink raspberry, tiny bit of sweetness 2013 — 10 years ago
Not every day you get to cross something off your bucket list! And for a 67 still had some lovely voloptuous dark fruit. Tannin like fine silk. I cant stop smiling. — 10 years ago
Love this. Perfect summer crisp light white from a town on my bucket list. — 11 years ago
Really nice representation of the value and quality of Portugal's Douro blends. Soft with being cloying and a good balance of acidity and deeper fruit like blackberry make it a good pairing with steak and hearty soup. The more Douro I drink the more my bucket list trip to Spain will include a side trip to Portugal's wine regions. — 11 years ago
Nothing makes me as happy as fresh wines like this. Could be drank by the bucket load. This is what wine was supposed to be like — 11 years ago
LONGVIEW 'Red Bucket' Adelaide Australia 2010 Shiraz Cabernet. The Saturno brothers killed it with this wine! The cooler climate lends elegance and grace to the sublime wine. Blueberry, mocha, spiced plum. Balanced! — 12 years ago
Yummy for a white wine! — 13 years ago
Second red wine at Table #4 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.
Deep ruby red with a touch of garnet. Mute nose to start but still tight with barnyard and meaty undertones. Some dark berries, and perfume. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) with a rich palate. Dark berries, gravel, spices and twigs. Full bodied with a long and dry finish. Drink till 2028. (91+) — 8 years ago
That is an outdoor ice bucket on the table wine. Bring on the shellfish, pasta, baguettes and butter. — 9 years ago
I don't often drink a glass of beer but my husband does so I taste a lot of different kinds. I took a sip of this one and said, " i love it, pour me my own glass!" Well balanced, and I do not typically like mango flavor, this harmony is one worth trying. — 10 years ago
2o13. searing acid bomb. only drink this in Chemistry lab under a hood with a white coat on. — 11 years ago
WOTN, was a bit warm, but after 5 mins in the ice bucket, exploded in complexity and sweet fruit. This is close to perfection, and will get even better for decades! — 11 years ago
Check that off the bucket list. — 11 years ago
3.4 Reminds me of the 2005. Delicious Bordeaux, lovely fruit and chemistry. Regularly $29.99, on sale for $23.89. 2014 just as tasty. On sale for $15.99, regularly $19.99. — 11 years ago
I could drink this by the bucket, which is just what you want to do after a hot day in the vineyard. — 12 years ago
Nothing like a little @Fairview Cellars Bucket o' Blood to whet the Halloween whistle. — 12 years ago
So impressive for what was considered to be a poor vintage. The winemaker has produced miracles. No visual signs of aging. Nose consists of ripe blackberries and raspberries. Palette is dominated with spice box and sweet red fruits. Acidity is pulsating and preserving the structure very well. Finishes with a long tail, and a deft amount of sweetness.
Bucket list - TICK. — 9 years ago

A very enjoyable wine with crackers and cheese. Seems like it would work for any occasion. I appreciate the chemistry drawings on the label. — 10 years ago
The purity of the blue and black fruit was there. It had deep and rich texture. I really enjoyed it but drank a 09 Realm Beckstoffer right after that blew it away. Glad I tried it. Have one left but the bucket list is checked off for good. Will not pay the vig as other wines are as well made or better for a fraction of the cost. — 10 years ago
Wow!! Chris Maybach and Thomas brown make some unreal wine! I would put Maybach up against the best from Napa. This is a wine that will blow you away. Huge fruit, but with extraordinary depth and balance and a finish that goes on and on! For a younger wine it is drinking so well! This is one to put on your bucket list! — 10 years ago
Bucket full of aged white burg. Wood shows after 30 mins. Balanced. Some butterscotch. Liked it. — 11 years ago
Unique expression of Pinot noir.... White, what the? A lightly flavoured wine with a bucket of complexity. Great texture and length. — 11 years ago
One of the best value wines I've had in a long time!! Huge nose of tertiary notes that follow through on the palate - baking spice, cigar box, and sandalwood by the bucket load!! Black fruits still holding up with dark cherries and infinite complexity behind it. Still my all time favourite wine / vintage from Carmel Valley! — 12 years ago
