Crisp and fruity but not super smooth. Great for big entrees. Had at Truluk's. 10-15-14 — 11 years ago

Primary blackberry compote and cedar flavors. Balanced out at this point in its life. Really good, reminds me of Frank Family Vineyards with more acidity. — 12 years ago
Fantastic! Cherry, black plum, blackberry. Plus coffee! So, so delicious. — 12 years ago

I love this wine with a good steak — 11 years ago
Supple, ripe and round. The elevated alcohol in this wine drives the aged aromatics to a fever pitch. In short, a beautiful wine. — 12 years ago
Good raspberry and acidity. $65 at restaurant. — 12 years ago

Wonderful expression of refined Zinfandel. Sure, there's plenty of berries, but not jammy. There's plenty of spice, but not heat. There's a robust rosy nose, but with a minerality that Cuts through the floral perfume providing intrigue and bringing it back from being cloying. On the palate, there's a pleasant vanilla tobacco right at the front, with tart and sweet immediately following, like a raspberry sweetart(TM) got mixed with grandpas pipe weed😜.
