2011. I don't go in for overly figurative tasting notes but this wine's got moxie, character. It knows what it's about. Others mentioned nebbiolo, but from the Hellenic side of the street. Loved this wine. While the 2011 Brio was tasting a little better this day this wine will age better. Big and bold but seamless, just a beautiful wine. Fruit, acidity, silky tannins and all the components to be a stunning wine with some bottle age. — 10 years ago

I don't usually do digestifs, but John C insisted and it looked too interesting to pass up. Concentrated Barolo essence with a spicy herbal - even slightly medicinal - thing going. If you've ever tried the Italian cola "Brio", this is its alcoholic cousin. Cool end to great meal. — 8 years ago
