The wine I had wasn't a Pinot noir, but Delectable won't let me edit the wine... it's the Domaine Comte de Monspey Bourgogne Aligoté. Slightly sweet, then distinct acidity, then sweet again. White flowers, peach, lemon, slight salinity #vinebox — 8 years ago

Not overly aromatic with muted orchard apples, some exotic fruit and a pinch of spice. On the palate this shows broad & rich fruit tightly wound around a core of mineral acidity. Poised & elegant with great purity & precision. Still very young and needs a bit of air, so will keep nicely for the next years.
A great Bourgogne Blanc that puts many Meursaults into shadow. — 6 years ago

Sour cherry, sweet spices and coconut from oak but not overwhelming. Elevated acid, low tannins, medium plus body. — 7 years ago
Ruby red, medium to light body, good tannins and acidity. Overall quite bright and tart. — 7 years ago
So easy to drink. Not as much oak as other PYCM. Meyer lemon, lemon zest, green apples, great minerality like Chablis. So elegant for Bourgogne level. Great price point. — 9 years ago
Crushed lemon PEZ, almond oil, and citrus nose. Citrus, minerals. Very nice. — 9 years ago
Beautiful petit chablis, had with crayfish. Want to find more! — 9 years ago

Electricity in a bottle. Wow! Tastes like high end Chablis. Tart citrus, wet rock, underripe apple, lots of salinity on finish. Acid, acid and more acid. Incredibly complex Chardonnay. — 5 years ago
