Ripe red fruit on the palate with hints of dark chocolate and baking spices. Nice touch of cedar and smoke on the extremely long finish. Viscous texture, full bodied and plush, but not over the top. At first, this wine seemed slightly over the hill. Not sure if it was pairing with food, some aeration or the alcohol (in my head) that let this wine blossom in the glass.
