Amazing red and black fruits with silky tannins. — 8 months ago
Full bodied cab with good depth. Finish not as smooth as the super Tuscan. 2019 vintage paired nicely with the veal parm. — 9 months ago

One of my favorites. Tastes like the Italian countryside — 8 years ago
Smooth! Oak, chocolate, berries (red and black), but much too young. Next bottle in 2021! — 10 years ago
Absolutely lovely Tuscan wine. With more time open, it would've been even better. — 11 years ago
48th anniversary wine — 8 months ago
Lovely super Tuscan. Juicy with enough acidity and grip to stand up to smoked ribs. And not too expensive. — 9 months ago
Very long finish. I woke up in the middle of the night and could still feel the moment. Licorice and much more — 9 months ago
At first, this wine seemed slightly over the hill. Not sure if it was pairing with food, some aeration or the alcohol (in my head) that let this wine blossom in the glass. This wine sings after 30 minutes. Somewhat soft and round with lots of structure and backbone making a for a great balanced wine. — 6 years ago
Fruit bomb, weak aftertaste — 7 years ago
Elegant - color still good, tastes of cocoa powder and earth with finely integrated tannins. Unfortunately this was the last bottle. — 10 years ago
The Campo Al Mare pairs fantastic with Lamb and Sausage Cacciatore. When cooking Italian choose wisely. — 10 years ago

Drinking this at Tre Dita in Chicago. Reinforced by the somm as an incredible value. — 7 months ago
v07. Treasure! Deep rusted purple color. Fragrant toasted tobacco leaves sprinkled with dried oregano nose. Rich, creamy, blackberry, blueberry, plum and tar fruit. Velvety, slightly chewy, chocolate and soft leather finish. Selfishly enjoyable! — 9 months ago
Single vineyard, single varietal. Purchased at the winery. Deep ruby coloration. Heavy tearing. On the nose, just out of the bottle, green pepper, black currants, forest floor, dark berry. On the palate, red berry, currants, pepper, forest floor/earthiness/minerality, vanilla. Full body, strong tannins. Will revisit once it breathes some. Becoming more velvety with robust anise and currants. Jammy dark berry. Strong minerals and vanilla. Following a long decant: on the nose, more dark fruit like blueberry, coffee, chocolate, tobacco and minerals. On the palate, full bodied and lush mouthfeel with notes of plum, blueberry, saline/minerals, sweet tobacco, chocolate, vanilla, and a very long finish. K likes it a lot. — 9 months ago
Great tasting (well priced!) Bolgheri. Bone dry finish... Glad we picked this one up 🙌 — 6 years ago
Prisvärt och right up my ally! Lite koda, choklad, kiwi, salmiak, lite barrskog och len men ändå mustig i truten/flabben. In på hansa och hugg den. 👌😌 — 7 years ago
Molto bene! — 10 years ago
