Really nice cab here, if you can find it, buy it. I have one more bottle of this, i think i will wait for it to age some more than guzzle like a lost hiking victim thirsty for a drink. — 9 years ago
2017 vintage was solid. Great with charcuterie. For the price not a bad choice. — 5 months ago

Deep ruby color.
Aromas of dried cherry, spice.
Dry. Flavors of dried cherry, floral, clove, dill, black pepper. Medium-rich, chewy tannins.

Delicate with great pepper notes — 8 years ago
Nose: fig and Asphalt and earth
Taste: candid walnut up front? plum and berry, very fruit forward in the middle. Finishes spicy! Love the prickling sensation as the berry fades.

Nice spice and red fruits on the palate. Hints of wet road tar and smoke. Not a strong finish but nice — 10 years ago
Quite deep ruby , with a wide garnet rim, quite young looking. Dried herbs , smoked meat , red cherry, violets , liquorice and antique furniture polish notes . On the palate quite round and rich, sweet red fruits , with that herbal tinge , those liquorice and charcuterie notes also evident . This in fact still shows well a day later , still quite full and rich , with red plum and black cherry notes . Quite good acidity , with quite gritty tannins, balanced alcohol . Decent length . This is very good now though no rush , mature but will continue to show well for a while longer , from now over the next 5 years . Wow, what a deal at < $20 / bottle
Wine spectator says #69 of top 100 of 2014.
A burly, brambly red, underscored by tarry smoke and underbrush notes, offering flavors of blackberry coulis, herb-marinated black olive, grilled mushroom and ground spice. This shows muscle that recommends it to short-term cellaring, made accessible by integration and balance. Drink now through 2024. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. #69 – 91 points — 6 years ago

Reasonably priced in Pennsylvania. Good drinkable wine if you like fuller bodied reds. Will be getting a couple more bottles. — 9 years ago
