Sweet note. Drinkable. Fruity. — 2 years ago
This is a very nice 13 year old Garnacha from Spain.
Showing black fruits with wood, chocolates, coffee, vanilla, licorice, earth, green vegetables, beef jerky, spices and peppercorn.
Dry on the palate with with medium acidity.
Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and cherries.
Not very complex on the nose, but very nice on the palate.
100% Garnacha grapes.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

A medium bodied, well balanced, 100% Spanish flagship Grenache grape wine. Yum this is one of the best examples of the storied Campo de Borja region wines scoring a “Wine Spectator” 91. Rich and lush with dusted black fruit and leather tones it coats your mouth with a wonderful smooth feeling of fruit and vanilla velvet leaving log legs. An absolute delight Cheers 🍷 — 6 years ago
It's a Rosé for everyone. Starts tart but ends with a strawberry sweetness. Reminds me of Sour Patch Kids. — 8 years ago

Unoaked Tempranillo. Roasted some red peppers w avacado, red onion, anchovies and eggs on top. — 9 years ago
Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe dark berry fruits and earthy forest floor notes, from a 3.7-acre plot, the estate’s highest-elevation vines (1,475 feet). On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with cacao, cedar, espresso and pepper spice. Fine tannins, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! Small production, less than 700 cases made! — 7 months ago

So don't agree on 93 pts from Parker. Large wine. Some heat. But like the fruit. So good showing from a QPR standpoint. Thanks #garagiste — 7 years ago
Nice. Good body. A little acidic

Garnacha, Jaen (mencia), a host of others. Can something be both Mediterranean and mountainous and reflect character of both? Yes, here's proof. Wild side of garnacha- sage, thyme, black currant- mixed with licorice and plum. Sawdust tannins but non invasive and bright, clear acidity — 6 years ago
— 8 years ago
Nose: dried flowers and ripe raspberries / Taste: good mouth feel, not super heavy. Black cherry. Little spice in the finish and moderate tannins grip the back of the mouth. Buy again! — 8 years ago
I'm partial to Spanish wines and this is no exception. It can stand alone as a solid Tempranillo or it an be (as I discovered last night) the rich topping on a very refreshing mixed drink. — 10 years ago

Deep black heart with star bright reflection. Nose of pipe tobacco and black plum are pierced by bitumen, pepper and licorice, black bread toast and grilled meat. On the palate, tart black cherries lead red cherries with dark juice bordering reduction, tobacco is prevalent but moist and sweet; graphite, smoke and charred oak just hinting. 2015 vintage in magnum making a more cohesive statement on day two. Baked fruits and bricking show the years, but unwavering quality and tannin keeping it chewy, luscious and solid rim to rim. Lovely Rosso Veneto to champion all comforts.
