Based on day 2. I really enjoyed this as it opened up. Great texture with lemon curd, stone fruit, marzipan and lively acidity. So well balanced. — 7 months ago
Fabulous CA pinot, aged well and enjoyed

Light bodied but had some tannin hiding in the back. Wonder if they did some whole cluster fermentation. — 10 months ago

Nice spice and red fruits on the palate. Hints of wet road tar and smoke. Not a strong finish but nice — 11 years ago

Must love roasted veggies. But this has shed some of its oak and youthful reduction. In a good spot with another 5-10 years of interest. — 7 months ago

Ooh la la! Fantastic crisp apple-pear fruit laced with a streak of minerality and beautiful richness and length. Lovely now and sould last another 5+ years. — 10 years ago
The '11 Bodegas Barco de Piedra Tempranillo is proof that good wine doesn't have to be expensive. Bluish purple in color, this medium-bodied wine emits a bouquet of black fruits, cherries, licorice, pepper and leather. It's delightfully creamy, velvety and complex. Very impressive for the money. — 12 years ago
