My second Franco-Españolas bottle in as many days, checking in on this budget Viura.

Nose of ripe white peach, citrus zest and a faint warm caramel note.
Palate has ripe white peach, citrus pulp and a sweet saline note.

This has picked up some new aspects since our last bottle. Still an uncomplicated wine and easy to appreciate, yet divisive as my cuter half continues to not be a fan of this, and all the prior ones. — 6 years ago

After years trying to taste it in a proper manner, I finally found the opportunity over a decent red pepper steak with red grape sauce. I was surprised not to see Alicante Bouschet into this baco original from the heights of the Serra de Sao Mamede in Portalegra, but the truth is that the typical granite soils from the region are powering this Touriga Nacional to its best!!
