Rich red with raisin, plum and a touch of smokiness. Medium to full bodied. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Note to @Delectable Wine the winery is pronounced “Aranthia” but spelled “Arancia”. A Spanish ringer for Chablis (some people sense Chenin leanings) and a good one at that. Tropical flowers and citrus on the nose, but the palate is energized with lemon, mineral, bright acid, and some stone fruit bitterness. Very light on its feet, but finishes somewhat longer. Crazy good for a BTG selection. — 8 years ago

Always looking to try more Godello and was excited to pick this up given the old vines are old indeed - as much as 100 years. I can appreciate that this is well made but for me the lees and oak treatment overwhelms a bit, and leaves this feeling a bit too rich and lacking in intensity for my taste. Still nice but not wowed. — 3 days ago
