Surprisingly tasty at vulcano — 9 years ago
A nose full of cherries and spice. Soft tannins, leathery and with a nicely acidic long and clean finish. Went nicely with a beef stew. — 10 years ago

light but strong, pronounced oakiness with only mild tannins, a rosemary note; pairs nicely with spicy foods / red meat, without overpowering. — 10 years ago
Like a Hi-C with all the sugar removed! Wonderfully tart cherry, delicious and very drinkable. YUM. — 11 years ago

Citrusy almond notes. On the palate M intensity with stone fruit - not unlike a Chardonnay but with more minerality salinity and bitterness (which is good). Like a lot of Mediterranean Whites it is Savoury Textural and mouth filling. My first wine from The Aeolian Islands (Salina and Vulcano) just north of Sicily. — 9 years ago

VULCANO in Kagoshima,Japan — 10 years ago
— 11 years ago
I enjoyed this 2010. From the Isola du Vulcano in the Aeolian chain this delicious passito is golden amber color with a velvety texture. Dried figs, dates, ripe apricots, honey and spice. Complex and yet delicate. — 11 years ago
