More like a crianza than a reserva. Good for easy drinking with nibbles although im sure it would match bold tomato or meaty flavours nicely too. Do watch out for DO Terras Altas, this is a typically excellent example of some of its wonderful offerings. Available in Spain for less than 6€ and worth that plus nosequé more! — 8 years ago

This lovely Carmenere was quite seductive. It was reinforced with a touch of petit Verdo and resulted in a black ink color. It is full and rich body and nose;-) the nose is tempting and complex with layers of green pepper, cherries, prunes, black current, chocolate and licorice. The body is big and bold, full of fruits and solid tannins, the finish is long and dry and this one clearly needs more cellaring time. My score 88+, drink 2016-2022 — 10 years ago
