Very enjoyable. An intense fruit flavour; very much a new world wine. Maybe a bit young, but drinks now, and for the next five years at least. Full body, long finish, not teribbly complex. Expresses blackberry and black currant like crazy. Very very good. — 8 years ago
Tastes of yellow seed grass with hints of plastic. Fantastic! The flavour is beyond delectable. It just tickles my fancy like no other. It swims down your throat like a yellowfin tuna swimming downstream the St. Lawrence River. Sometimes i dream of this wine while watching the stars on my private island. — 10 years ago
Impeccable integration, Batman! Ripening dark fruit wrapped in layers of spices and gentle pepper medley.
1100 cases produced from the Okanagan's famed Black Sage Bench. — 11 years ago
Another keeper from the Black Sage Bench. Truly unique, creamy and spicy nose on pepper steak, freshly milled steak rub, chocolate and raspberries. Dry and dusty on the palate with a good level of acidity to balance things out. — 11 years ago

Mint, coffee, caramel, blueberry and blackberry, with a hint if farm. On the sweet side. Tannins are well integrated - drink now. — 13 years ago
Chocolate and coffee notes to start. Smooth tannins with just a bit of alcohol. Great with Indian spiced wings on the grill. — 8 years ago
Burrowing Owl Estate Wines have achieved an almost cult status in parts of BC with much excitement in anticipation of a new release. Known more for their Athens, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon's this Merlot deserves notice on its own. With a deep garnet color, a nose of blackberry, black cherry and plum this complex wine delights with smooth layers of vanilla, spices, dark chocolate and hints of sage. If you can find it, this smooth Canadian deserves your attention. Cheers 🇨🇦🍷 — 8 years ago
They first and only port I have yet to enjoy. Perfect with soft cheese, date crackers and dark chocolate — 11 years ago

#bcwine #okanagan 2012 Black Cloud 'Fleuvage' #PinotNoir, Naramata Bench, BC. Nice to find a 12% alc wine here! Bright & Juicy with violet petal, tart cherry and citrus peel with a hint of spice. Almost Beaujolais style. A bit 1-dimensional but overall a good jug. Approx $25 CAD but based on style should be more in the $15 USD range. #wine #sommelier — 11 years ago
Been aging this beauty for two years! So amazing! — 12 years ago

Crisp and creamy in harmony. So much acidity, nicely balanced with sweet-ish vanilla oak notes. A teeter-totter of tastes. Ideal. All fruit from Tinhorn's Black Sage Bench Diamondback Vineyard. (sample) — 10 years ago
2014 rich blackcurrant flavour. Not sweet but not dry either. Just perfect! Would go well with a heavy tomato based meal — 10 years ago
