This is the 2010. Nose spice on this cab makes me think new oak (not a bad thing). Fairly balanced tannins, acid & red fruit subtly showing raspberry and Bing cherries. I had it decanted post first pour glass, and, as is usually the case, it is developing as I tap this out to y'all (southern sort I am). Drinking well with the delicious pesto yellow beet, etc salad in the pic. I am, once again, digging the groovy vibe and amazing food all served up by sweet/gorgeous Emily (my server), at Kalapawai Cafe, in Kailua. Don't miss this place should you come this way..! — 11 years ago
