Vintage 2011
Orleans is a rare white wine grape variety grown in small proportions in Pfalz, Germany.
As a wine, Orleans has distinctive pineapple aromas and a slight spiciness. It shows excellent aging potential but, as it can be challenging in the vineyard, it is consequently quite unpopular with winemakers.

Wow! Drinking like a wine less than half it's age. Such a shame that this style of wine has one out of favour. The perfect off-dry wine. Sublime nose of almost buttery (though not in an oaky sense) unripe peaches, spring buds, and a hint honeysuckle. Cutting acidity and great length! — 8 years ago
